Indeminty Bond For duplicate certificate

THIS BOND OF INDEMNITY is made and executed at New Delhi on this ………… day of ………………….. 2002 BY Dr…….……………. s/o. Mr.……………………. R/o. ……………………………… hereinafter referred to as the “EXECUTANT” (which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context, mean and include his heirs, legal representatives, successors, executors, administrators, assigns, etc.) of the ONE PART IN FAVOUR OF Delhi Medical Council, a statutory body under Delhi Medical Council Act, 1997, having its office at Room No. 308A, 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, Maulana Azad Medical College, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi – 110002, hereinafter referred to as the Beneficiary (which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context mean and include, its administrators, successor-in-interest, executors, assigns, etc.) of the OTHER PART. WHEREAS the Executant is a registered Medical practitioner and the beneficiary herein issued an original Registration Certificate No. ……………. dated ………………. to the Executant. AND WHEREAS the EXECUTANT has lost, misplaced, mislaid or destroyed the said Original Certificate No. ……. dated ………… and the same is not traceable, and the EXECUTANT has approached and requested for issuance of a duplicate registration certificate. AND WHEREAS on the request and representation of the EXECUTANT the BENEFICIARY has agreed to issue a duplicate registration certificate to the EXECUTANT provided the EXECUTANT agree to return the original certificate, if and when found, and/or to indemnify the BENEFICIARY against any proceedings, claims, liability, litigation, expenses, costs etc. that the beneficiary may suffer by reason of issuance of duplicate certificate or if the representation made by the EXECUTANT about the original certificate is found to be false, incorrect or untrue.

Now ThisS Bond Of Indemity Witnesseth As Under

• That in consideration of the aforesaid agreement whereby the Beneficiary has agreed to issue duplicate registration certificate to the Executant, the Executant hereby agree and undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified and harmless the Beneficiary at any time hereafter against any and all actions, losses, costs, charges, expenses, proceedings, claims, liabilities etc. whatsoever which the Beneficiary may suffer, incur, or undergo by reason of issuance of duplicate registration certificate to the Beneficiary. The Executant hereby further agree and undertake to deliver to the Beneficiary the original registration certificate for cancellation, if found hereafter.
• That the Executant further agree and undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified and harmless the beneficiary in the event any of the statement and representation made herein above by the Executant is found to be incorrect, untrue or false.
